This year the Annual meeting offers an interesting insight into Finnish Vocational Education (VET) and the good practices from Finn-Net partner colleges. Please check the Annual meeting program and register for the event (choose some parts or all of them) by the 28th of September. You can forward the invitation to all relevant staff members within your college.
During recent years, the network has faced many new challenges and changes, such as Brexit; covid-19; and a new Erasmus+ programme; which have inspired us to cooperate more closely and to clarify our common goals. We are currently facing the ‘New Era of International VET Cooperation’ which will be the main theme of the Annual meeting. We hope this meeting will offer us a chance to discuss and learn even more from each other and to find new forms of cooperation. The new strategic guidelines for the network will be presented and launched during the meeting too. The last day of the meeting will be dedicated to the different project funding opportunities and project ideas.
We recommend participating especially on the webinar organised on the 6th of October at 10:15-12:00 CET. The role of VET in the regional development and innovation will be discussed by the representatives of the different regions and colleges within Network of Networks. The webinar will start with inspiring keynote speaker, futurist Perttu Pölönen, who shares insights for the anticipation of the future. He will convey new ideas about the evolution of work and education as well as new perspectives to the changes that lie ahead and are already taking place.
His TEDx Talk challenges us to consider future competencies. What can I get from you that I cannot get from Google? https://youtu.be/MSx50MV02Bw
Please join in the discussion! Looking forward to meeting you!
